To celebrate the DVD and Blu-ray release of Cane Toads: The Conquest on 30 January, we are giving away a copy of the film on DVD to three lucky winners.

Mark Lewis (Cane Toads: An Unnatural History) explores one of Australia’s greatest environmental catastrophes as he follows the unstoppable march of the cane toad across the continent. Despised by many, venerated by some, the toad has occupied a nation’s consciousness achieving both cult and criminal status. Despite its international origin, the cane toad has become uniquely Australian – yet, for a world wrestling with the idea that we have irretrievably altered our own ecosystem, its story holds universal relevance.

Featuring a host of engaging characters as well as thousands of toads, Cane Toads: 3D is a humorous yet thought-provoking journey into the issue of invasive species.

Order your copy of Cane Toads: The Conquest now on Amazon

It’s also out on Blu-Ray, DVD, and as a digital copy as of Monday, June 13th. However, on our little internet island surrounded by a sea of sites who aren’t giving you cool things, I bring to you this: five signed Paul cards, and the signatures belong to Pegg and Frost.

It’s an awesome bit of memorabilia, and we bring it to you courtesy of the release of Paul on Blu-Ray, digital and DVD – if you’re in the shop, you’re aiming for this:

Which of the following films have Simon Pegg and Nick Frost NOT appeared in?

We’ll let you know if you’ve won, but until then, go check out the film if you’ve not seen it already, and if you have, then watch it again. Practice makes perfect, and all that.

Win tickets to see the iconic A Clockwork Orange screened at Brunel University in West London on Thursday 2nd June– one of the key locations featured in the groundbreaking film.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of this cult classic, Volkswagen and TFR have teamed up to offer two pairs of tickets to this exclusive screening of this Oscar nominated film.

The event is the forth in Volkswagen’s See Film Differently series, following the original location screenings of An American Werewolf in London inside ZSL London Zoo, the gangster classic Get Carter, which was shown at Newcastle Racecourse, and Trainspotting, screened at the Royal Scottish Academy – all of which are notable locations featured in each of the classic films.

The lucky winners will be able to watch the film in Brunel University’s lecture theatre – the setting for one of the film’s most unforgettable scenes, in which Alex is subjected to experimental aversion therapy. The event will also feature a one-off exhibition of original stills and film memorabilia, as well as a Q&A session with Jan Harlan – Stanley Kubrick’s brother in law and assistant producer for A Clockwork Orange – following the screening.

In addition, those fortunate enough to attend will be treated to complimentary cinema style food in the ‘Moloko Bar’, a specially themed exhibition space inspired by the milk drink favoured by Alex and his gang in the film.

Fancy a trip to the cinema, for two people, on us? Well, here’s your chance, if you live near a Cineworld.

The lovely folks at Confused.com, the latest in the Fast and the Furious franchise, have given us a couple of Cineworld tickets to offer to you, the readership, and we do so very happily. It’s like having a two-for-one deal, only one ticket cheaper!

They’ve also given us a rather interesting infographic detailing what the insurance would be on several famous cars from Hollywood-land, and the concept is very amusing. Check it out:
