In the film he plays a veterinary student who abandons his studies after his parents are killed and joins a travelling circus as a vet, where he falls for Marlena Rosenbluth, played by Reese Witherspoon, who unfortunately is married to a cruel animal trainer. We don’t know if the film is any good but we love a bit of R-patz and we thought we’d treat you to our top ten facts about the boy-wonder…

1. His second ever film role was in Vanity Fair, where he played Reese Witherspoon's son. He is now of course playing her lover. However, no one got to see him in his previous role, as his scenes were cut.

2. He looks like a girl. Well he used to anyway. Up until he was 12, his sisters Lizzie and Victoria used to dress him up as a girl and introduce him as Claudia. He even admitted to looking like a girl himself talking about his very short lived acting career: "When I first started I was quite tall and looked like a girl."

3. R-patz sees himself as somewhat of a musician playing both the guitar and keyboard. He was once in a rock band called Bad Girl. He sings on two songs on the Twilight soundtrack, "Never Think" and "Let Me Sign."

4. Despite a lot of people saying he can't drive this is not true. His dad used to be a car dealer but it wasn't until he was in Oregon working that he started driving. He does however claim to be terrible at driving.

5. At school Robert was given the nickname "Patty," and this is now what he calls his dog. Apparently he hates his own name and would prefer people to call him "Spunk Ransom?!"

6. Before he played the role of Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter, he hadn't actually read any of the books. For the role, not only did he have to read the books, but he also had to learn to scuba dive.

7. Like most British kids, Rob's first job was doing a paper round. He reportedly earned £10 a week doing so. This year, however, Robert came No. 15 on Vanity Fair's "Hollywood Top 40" with earnings of $27.5 million in 2010.

8. According to our sources, Patty was expelled from school at least once at the age of 12, although there are rumours he was expelled a second time at a later age. Ooh, naughty!

9. R-patz, who has been named the most handsome man in the world in various polls, had his first kiss at the age of 12. He is now apparently smooching Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart.

10. Apart from the final instalments of Twilight , we'll next see him in Bel Ami , with Uma Thurman, who plays his love interest. Apparently it's going to be rather steamy - we can't wait!
