We’ve got some Oscar news for you. Yes it seems a bit early, but some of the long lists have come out and you will not believe who’s made the documentary list.
None other than our very own super-stealth artist Bansky. His documentary Exit Through The Gift Shop has made it to the voting process for the 83rd Academy Awards. Fifteen films have been picked at this point, but only five will go through to the Oscars nominations on January 25th. Fingers crossed. The ceremony itself takes place on February 27 in Hollywood.
If you haven’t seen the documentary yet it is the story of Thierry Guetta, a French immigrant who lives in LA and is really obsessed with street art. He films pretty much everything he does, so we watch him on his quest to find the ultimate street artist – Banksy.
