The 2011 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards last night marked another step on the road to the Academy Awards – but shone their spotlight on the films we’re used to seeing awards for by now – Black Swan, The King’s Speech, et. al.

For those of you who can’t physically sit still until the 83rd Academy Awards get here (though here at TFR we’re pretty sure we all know who’ll be taking the shiny gold people at this point), the Screen Actor’s Guild (SAG) Awards are here. Anyone who saw someone who wasn’t Firth or Portman walking away with the big two individual awards is kidding themselves, at this point. Most likely it’ll be a clean sweep for those two all the way till the end of February.

Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series: Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire).

Outstanding performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series: Julianna Margulies (The Good Wife).

Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series: Alec Baldwin (30 Rock).

Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series: Betty White (Hot in Cleveland).

Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series: Boardwalk Empire.

Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series: Modern Family.

Outstanding performance by a stunt ensemble in a motion picture: Inception.

Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Television Series: True Blood.
