Chicago (the city, not the musical – although both are applicable) is just about as far as you can get from Hogwarts, but that’s the location of the new Harry Potter exhibition. Held at Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry, the 10,000-square-foot exhibition which launches this weekend will be displaying props, costumes and other various artefacts to please would-be wizard as they appear in the movies – including Harry’s glasses and wand, and the pink box of love potion chocolates from The Half-Blood Prince. Sets from the Great Hall, Hagrid’s Hut, and the Gryffindor common room have also been re-created – and there is even a life-sized version of the Hogwarts Express, complete with fog.
