Julia Roberts reached London last night for the UK premiere of her latest movie Eat Pray Love.
However, unlike on her other European stops, she chose to cover up and arrived wearing a demure, white Stella McCartney tuxedo style suit. Although we didn’t get to see her famous pins, she still flashed plenty of her mega-watt smile, which was enough for us at the TFR Towers.
Although the film also stars Javier Bardem and James Franco, neither attended the premiere. Author of the best-selling memoir, which the film is based on, Elizabeth Gilbert made an appearance on the red carpet wearing a beautiful black ball gown.
Other stars on the carpet such as Brigitte Nielson didn’t seem to get the memo that this was a classy affair, as she showed up with plenty of leg on display.
Speaking at the premiere, the Pretty Woman star said: “I hope this movie inspires people to take a little bit more time out for themselves, and to appreciate what they have.”
She went on to say: “It has been a great challenge. It’s a great book, a brilliant character and a wonderful cast. Filming in each country had its own challenges and appeal”
Eat Pray Love is the based on the true story of a woman who after a painful divorce decides to go off travelling around the world in order to ‘find herself’. For more information on the film, read an earlier article about it here.
