Rumour has it that Mila Kunis may be reuniting with Seth McFarlane for his upcoming film, Ted.
Kunis worked with McFarlane on the animated TV series Family Guy, which he created and provided the voice for the characters of Peter, Stewie and Brian Griffin, amongst others. Kunis provided the voice of the Griffin’s daughter, Meg.
However, she has more recently been making headlines for her slightly controversial role in Darren Aronofsky’s Black Swan, in which she starred as a ballet dancer alongside Natalie Portman.
Now Kundis is reportedly in negotiations to reunite with McFarlane for his first feature-length film, Ted, the story of a young boy whose wish that his teddy bear would come to life is granted. However, as an adult (played by Mark Wahlberg), he finds himself burdened by the rude and disruptive bear, who is still very much alive and causing him trouble.
The bear in question will be voiced by McFarlane himself, whilst Kunis is reported to be considering the part of Wahlberg’s girlfriend, who is at the end of her tether with the terrible toy. She turns to her boss for help, who it is possible will be played by Friends With Kids‘ Adam Scott.
The script for Ted has also been written by Wahlberg, along with fellow Family Guy executive Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild. Sounds like it’s set to be fairly funny stuff – we’ll keep you posted!
