This Friday sees the release of Magic Trip – a film documenting the story of Ken Kesey, Neal Cassady, and the Merry Pranksters, as they travelled across America on their bus called ‘Further’ in 1964. It has since been argued that the psychedelic era was unintentionally brought about by this legendary journey, and it was certainly a fundamental part of launching the hippie culture that defined the mid-to-late Sixties.
