Is this the sweetest hangover? After the phenomenal success of last week’s Hangover release, it’s not so surprising that a sequel is now in the pipeline…
“Two weeks ago I was saying, ‘let’s see how it works out,’” director Todd Phillips told reporters. “Now that the movie has really connected, it’s something we’re doing for sure.” Shooting on the sequel will begin as early as Spring 2010 and all four main characters will be returning to have more outrageous fun.”
Well things are certainly moving quicker than with Phillips’ other hit, Old School. The 2003 hit was rumoured to be getting a spin-off way back when, but with Will Ferrell, Vince Vaughn and Luke Wilson’s schedules looking busier that the post-recession bus timetable, it looks like there might not be a school reunion anytime soon.
