How Lo can you go? OK, so she might have Mean Girls on her resume, but has Linsday Lohan done anything worthwhile since? With more box office bombs than DUIs behind her, it’s not surprising that few studios are willing to take their chances on the 22-year-old, but there’s always one willing to take a gamble… According to Variety, David Michaels has just signed her up to star alongside Woody Harrelson, Giovanni Ribisi, Dave Matthews, and Alanis Morissette in a comedy called The Other Side.
Lohan is set to play a science graduate who spends the summer working as a researcher on remote island. Of course, all is not what it seems and she soon gets to know a whole array of oddball characters and learns that the island is home to quite a few secrets.
If you’re not convinced now, you probably never will be – the film has been in production for three years, during which time a whole array of leads have been attached before bailing. Could this be the first time that a film jinxes Lohan’s career? Watch this space.
