Trust a former Coronation Street actor to go and put his foot in it with the Hollywood big guns…
Bradley Cooper was forced to set the record straight about the forthcoming A-team film after it was reported that he’d landed the role of Lieutenant Templeton ‘Faceman’ Peck, saying the comments he made about the production had been taken out of context…
“A guy came up to me and asked about the character Faceman in The A-Team. I said ‘Oh, that’s out there already?’, but my point was that news about the film is out there. Literally that people knew about the remake, that’s it. I haven’t read a script or met (director) Joe Carnahan,” he told Chud.com.
It would be quite coup for the Brit if he did get in on it; Bruce Willis, Woody Harrelson and rapper Common are all rumoured to be appearing in the remake of the 1980s TV show. The film is scheduled for release in 2010, so I guess we’ll find out who’s play Mr T and the crew soon enough…
