The Ghosts Of Girlfriends Past

You might have heard this one before…  Matthew McConaughey is a love ‘em and leave ‘em kinda bachelor enjoying his freedom, flexing his muscles and having a general good time regardless of who else gets hurts. That is, of course, until he meets that one special lady… No, It isn’t Failure to Launch Part 2 or How to Lose a Guy in 10 Dates The Sequel – it’s actually a brand new McConaughey vehicle, The Ghost of Girlfriends Past.
When lothario Connor Mead (played by McConaughey, naturally) breaks up with several women via just one conference call, you know that something is going to come back to haunt him – but you expect the thing to be a bit of karma rather than an actual ghost. There a three ghosts to be precise; past, present and future. You see, the movie is a bit of a twist on A Christmas Carol and so Connor is taken on a life odyssey through his failed relationships. It might be too late to change his past, but there’s always hope for the future, which means he might just be able to win around true love Jennifer Garner – although possibly not the viewer if sentimentally isn’t your game.
