It was only a matter of time before these two teamed up, although judging by the trailer, Jeff, Who Lives at Home could be a slightly more sober affair than one might have expected.

Written and directed by Jay and Mark Duplass, the film follows the story of two brothers, as well as their despairing mother, played by Susan Sarandon. While one of the brothers, Jeff (Segel), is a thirty-year-old who still lives in the basement of his family home, the other, Pat (Helms), starts to his life collapse when he discovers his wife is having an affair.

Both Segel and Helms have some fairly crude comedy credentials behind them, including Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Bad Teacher, and The Hangover, to name but a few. However, it seems as though this indie flick could be set to take an unexpectedly gentle approach with its tale of early mid-life crisis – an easy subject to poke comedy-fun at, if ever there was one.

This could certainly be an opportunity for both actors to take a step back from the roles they have become associated. That said, the film could well have a number of similarities with the upcoming Knocked Up spinoff, This Is Forty, in which Segel also stars (along with Paul Rudd, Megan Fox and Chris O’Dowd).

Not only will Segel and Helms star alongside screen veteran Sarandon, but they’ll also be joined by seasoned rom-com actress Judy Greer – who, again, appears to be breaking away from her usual roles in films such as 27 Dresses and Love Happens to take on the role of Helms’ wife.

Jeff, Who Lives at Home is released in UK cinemas on 20th April – meanwhile, take a look at the trailer below:

It’s been on the cards if screenwriters, Todd Phillips and Craig Mazin, would write a second sequel to the hit comedy film, but it has now been confirmed by the star himself, Bradley Cooper.

Cooper, who was named 2011′s Sexiest Man Alive by People Magazine, appeared on the The Graham Norton Show last weekend and claimed filming could begin late next year.

The Limitless star said, ‘I hope we’re going to start shooting in September, I know Todd Phillips is working on the script and the third film would close the trilogy’.

Cooper thinks the film will be set in L.A. and not adhere to the typical ‘Hangover’ structure.

However, back in June, Zach Galifianakis (who played oddball Alan Garner) told Rolling Stone that the third film would see his character being confined to a mental hospital, where Phil (Cooper) and Stu (Ed Helms) attempt to break him out.

He also told Rolling Stone that he was ‘getting fricking phone calls already’ regarding Part III.

The Hangover Part II topped the UK Box Office on its opening weekend, taking in a staggering £10m which beat the likes of Thor and Pirates of the Caribbean.

The third and final installation to the crude comedy saga is expected to be just as popular, but will it be a happy ending?

According to Mazin ‘the third movie ends with Doug staring at a row of crosses in a graveyard, it’s everyone – his wife, his family is dead, everybody from the first movie is dead. Somebody shows up and tells him his dog is dead’.

Who knows what we are to expect, but if it’s anything like its prequels, it’s guaranteed to be utter carnage.

Tattooist S. Victor Whitmill is suing the film’s producers for copying the image he designed tattooed on Mike Tyson’s face back in 2003. In the sequel to the 2009 smash hit the actor Ed Helms who plays Stu in the film wakes up after a big night drinking with a tattoo which appears to be almost identical to Tyson’s one.

Boxer Tyson also stars in the film, which is set in Bangkok this time. You may remember he had a part in the first film as well. There is no word about what the man himself has to say on the issue.

Whitmill’s lawyers are claiming the use of the tattoo is “reckless copyright infringement”, saying:

“Mr. Whitmill has never been asked for permission for, and has never consented to, the use, reproduction or creation of a derivative work based on his original tattoo,”

The case has opened a can of legal worms and raised questions about whether someone can own a piece of someone else’s body and if all forms of art can be copyrighted.

This isn’t the first time the question of tattoo ownership has come up, tattooist Louis Molloy kicked up a stink about how many of the tattoos he had designed and tattooed on David Beckham would appear in an advert he was involved in.

It’s up to the courts at this point to decide what effect this copied tattoo will have on the original and how much of it is actually reproduced. If it goes Whitmill’s way, an injunction could be put in place preventing its release this week. Do you think this all sounds a bit crazy or does Whitmill have a point?

The Hangover Part II is supposed to be released on May 26.

“He (dentist) actually had to break the crown off and then unscrew the post from the implant. That leaves a huge hole in your gum and the tissue has to stay healthy, so he screwed in a piece that his lab made that matched my gum tissue. Once the movie was done I got a fresh new implant.”

In some unrelated dentistry in the film industry news, Demi Moore surprised her one million Twitter followers by posting a picture of herself with her front tooth missing.

“I lost it and had to have it fixed! I personally thought this look went out after you were eight, didn’t know I would be rocking it again!”

Well, you never know what roles it could bring you, Demi….

It’s not exactly original, but then again, neither is our behaviour in the pub every Friday night, and there are plenty of laughs (mostly from Galifianakis, whose performance here will undoubtedly lift him to star status) – even for the stone cold sober.

Brain dead? Sure, but it’s perfect hangover viewing. A sequel is already in the work, so looks like nobody learns his lesson either, which you mind find yourself saying about this film second time round.

Just don’t take along your fiancé if you’re heading on a stag this summer.
