Naturally, Gervais will voice the lead character, an unfortunately sweaty purple creature who goes on a mission to change the world, whilst scripting has been handed over to The Simpsons’ Matt Selman.
In the meantime, Gervais can been seen (or, rather, heard) opposite Ben Stiller in Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian.
