Cliff Richard, Cliff, Sir Cliff, or even Harry Webb (his birth name), whatever you want to call him, the man is a genuine legend. At 73-years-old, he’s still releasing new material and performing live. Fans will be glad to hear that he has released a new live DVD called Still Reelin’ and a-Rockin’ – Live in Sydney.
Recorded live in February this year in the Sydney Opera House in Australia, the DVD and Blu Ray release features over two hours of material recorded in front of a sell out audience of devoted fans. All two hours the hits are there, including Reelin’ & Rockin’, Devil Woman, The Young Ones and Rip it Up.
The release also includes eight songs he didn’t manage to play on the UK wing of his tour: Fabulous, Poetry In Motion, Paralyzed, Sealed with a Kiss, ‘D’ In Love, I Don’t Care If The Sun Don’t Shine, Some People and Suddenly.
Cliff’s days of hogging the Christmas number one spot may have passed (or be in temporary abeyance), but this release means that he can still be a key part of the Season of Goodwill. Remember, Sir Cliff hasn’t sold 250 million records by sheer good luck. Still Reelin’ and a-Rockin’ is the perfect Christmas present for the Cliff fan in your life – some have even gone so far as calling it a ‘Cliffmas present’.
The Still Reelin’ and a-Rockin’ – Live in Sydney DVD, a Special Edition DVD with 2014 pocket diary, and Blu-ray are out on Monday 11th November, 2013.
