Daniel Radcliffe’s Kill Your Darlings is very nearly upon us, and to keep those of you patiently twiddling your thumbs until December 6th happy, we’ve got three exclusive clips from the film for you to watch.
For those of you who do not know what Kill Your Darlings is about, the story is based on a true story about a group of great poets who together formed the Beat generation. Before fame though, many do not know that Allen Ginsberg (Radcliffe), Jack Kerouac (Jack Huston) and William Burroughs (Ben Foster) were brought closer together by an unexpected murder which involved their friend Lucian Carr (Dane DeHaan). The year was 1944.
Critics have already declared that the film contains Radcliffe’s greatest performance to date, while DeHaan has been described as hot and dangerous. You can make up your own minds from the clips below, which tease your curiosity with poetry and interesting snippets of the struggles, loves and fun the men have ahead of them on screen.
Also, find out about the KYD (Kill Your Darlings) Cut-Up Exhibition which Daniel Radcliffe is opening on Thursday 21st November in London.
