Despite settling down and declaring himself to be a one-woman man, Russell Brand was still driving the ladies wild at the Irish première of his latest film Get Him To The Greek .
Brand happily posed with hordes of over-excitable teenage girls at the Savoy Cinema in Dublin, one of whom even threw a pair of knickers at him.
X Factor twins John and Edward were among some of the biggest name stars attending, along with former Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton.
Brand, who wore really tight white jeans and a black shirt, was caught out by a fan who secretly stuck a sticker on his back with the release date of Jedward’s debut album.
Lucky for him, his security quickly spotted and removed it, but not before he was caught by the media with the small advert on his back.
The film reprises Brand’s character from Forgetting Sarah Marshall – decadent Brit rocker Aldous Snow.
The film has so far not received as good reviews as Forgetting Sarah Marshall, but that doesn’t seem to be putting a downer on Brand who reckons he could win an Academy Award for the role, he said : “I play a drug addict and as I have been doing extensive research on them for past 10 years, it was easy to portray the role. I would prefer to get an Oscar as I reckon, I have got a chance.”
