Hammer’s brand new iPhone application is perfect for film-fanatics who want to freak their friends out with authentic movie soundtrack clips from Hammer’s best horror films.
The famous British film company who are renowned for their scary films, including the blockbuster The Woman In Black, has released a phone application which allows its users to create their own spooky sounds and eerie effects.
The ‘ScreamBoard’ app, – which is free for the iPhone – provides a selection of scary sound clips from many of their classic horror films, allowing users to create a brand new, monstrous mash-up.
The app is intended to appeal to both old and new fans of Hammer, as it includes a whole range of movie music clips. Two of the preloaded sounds on the app include Four Sided Triangle and The Quatermass Xperiment.
The London-based company, Substance, designed the app to also feature video clips, stills, film trivia and Google map information on filming locations.
Standard title modules can be purchased for 69p, or Premium modules – such as Dracula and The Curse Of Frankenstein – cost £1.49. They are both available to download until 1st May for the special launch price of 69p.
