Toy Story 3 is doing well, Jonah Hex isn’t.

Toy Story 3 has stormed the US box office earning an incredible $109 million in its opening weekend. It blew the previous best Disney Pixar debut, The Incredibles, out of the water, which took $70.5 million back in 2004. The film premièred at The Edinburgh International Film Festival this morning.

Meanwhile Megan Fox’s new film Jonah Hex is not doing well at all, only taking $5 million. It cost $47 million to make. Oh dear.

Despite all the rumours of trouble while filming and the poor reviews so far, Megan Fox still managed to wow the crowds at the premiere  in LA last week.

The Transformers star, who plays a prostitute in the film, wore a revealing Giorgio Armani Prive red silk dress that was designed especially for her.

Speaking about her experience working with Oscar nominees Josh Brolin and John Malkovich – the film’s villain – Megan described it as “an unbelievable opportunity.”

“I could have been a hot dog,” said the actress, who recently announced her engagement to Brian Austin Green, said. “I just wanted to work with these people.”

The film, a western based on a comic book, also stars Julia Jones, who we will be seeing a lot more soon as she is starring in forthcoming The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

Dame Helen Mirren walked the red carpet supporting her stepston Rio Hackford, who also stars in the film. James Brolin, Josh’s dad, and stepmum Barbra Streisand attended as well.

The film is due for a release in the UK in September.
