Madagascar gang are back for their 3rd wild adventure

What do you get when you cross a lion, a giraffe, a hippo and a zebra? Dreamworks’s upcoming film, Madagascar: Europe’s Most Wanted of course.

The misfits of Madagascar are back for their third adventure which takes them on a wild, whirlwind trip around Europe.

We can expect to see all our favourite characters again, including big-headed Alex the lion (Ben Stiller), larger-than-life Gloria the hippo (Jada Pinkett Smith), chatterbox Marty the zebra (Chris Rock) and health fanatic, Melman the giraffe (David Schwimmer).

We will also get a glimpse of the cool and cunning penguins, who are living like slippery rock stars in a Monte Carlo casino.

Borat’s Sacha Baron Cohen is back to voice crazy King Julien who loves nothing more than to ‘move-it move-it’ for his lemming fans.

Directed by Eric Darnell, the film sees the wild bunch trying to make their way to back to the safety of their New York zoo but end up getting stranded in Monte Carlo.

They are then chased by the European police – and more frighteningly – a sour-faced animal control expert, voiced by Frances McDormand (Burn After ReadingAlmost Famous).

In order to escape, the gang hitch a ride with a travelling circus – which stars the venerable tiger Vitali – and are taken through various cities including Paris and Rome.
The tour ends with a big show in London where the characters rediscover their love and passion for show business and reinvent circus performance.

This wild adventure claws its way into cinemas next October.
