You may remember a while back we mentioned that Vue Cinemas were giving three lucky film fans the opportunity to tweet for them at this year’s London Film Festival – and the winners have now been announced!
After receiving over 300 entries, the three ‘ultimate film tweeters’ have been revealed to be Sol Harris, a film production student from Leeds University, Matt Strachan, a music company account handler from East London and Laura Bryant, a full-time nurse and mum of four.
Each have been given an exclusive Festival press pass, as well as the tricky job of summing up each film they are sent to see in just 140 characters. Their tweets will be posted on Vue’s twitter account, twitter.com/vuecinemas, which already has more than 4000 followers.
The BFI London Film Festival has already begun screening the best of contemporary world cinema, documentaries, shorts, animation and experimental film. Not only will Vue’s competition winners be rubbing shoulders with many leading international filmmakers and industry professionals, but also with numerous Hollywood stars, such as Natalie Portman and James Franco, who both have films screening at the festival.
We can’t wait to read Vue’s micro-reviews, plus we’ll keep you updated on our very own BFI London Film Festival experiences right here!
